Are you telling me your democracy is held together with tape and needles ?
Well yes, conservatives won't let us repair it because they claim that's socialism and socialism is bad. That's the shit we're dealing with over here.
Worse. Its held together by the shared sense of public interest and neighborly bonds of friendship.
LOL yeah actually. And that was never sustainable in a country that sells the idea of being wholly independent and self interested.
Maybe it was the lead maybe it was the isolationist ideological core. But shared identity and faith in the country is on life support.
