Why do conservatives care so much about the border? Probably a race thing but it seems so tedious to care.
The fascists think that there's millions and millions of scary brown people coming across the border, and they're driving wages down and causing violence.
It's not true because it's all based in racism. It's also worth noting that the border policy under Biden is exactly the same, if not worse than it was under Trump. So they're having a tantrum because they're not shooting migrants or putting them in concentration camps enough.
As far as I understand it, USA needs the workers. Same reason that here in Canada we've turbo-charged immigration in recent years. But USA is content to keep that underclass of easily exploitable under-the-table workers. Here we just put a rubber stamp on it and call it the "temporary foreign worker program".
The widely accepted view is that the federal government is allowing "military-aged men" of Islamic and Chinese origin to cross the border. The marxist elites are building an insurgency. This is not a fringe view, it's common.
What kicked off this specific thing was that Texas put blades and razor wire along the border. The feds came in and took it down because you can't maim people from other countries, even if they're crossing your border illegally. Texas didn't like that and so they're making it an issue to show they're standing up to the feds and their borderless agenda.
God I wish.
