A movie can be offensive because it espouses bigotry, as by propagating stereotypes or outright slurs against groups. But just because you're offended, doesn't mean the movie is offensive. Sometimes, it just means that you're a dick.

This one portrays a person of Indian origin cooking and eating meat, which offends Hindus, so NetfFlix has censored it.

Exactly this. It's not like there's any shortage of movies showing Jews eating pork; where's the outrage there?

Nobody can stop you from obeying religious or cultural food prohibitions, but that doesn't give you any excuse to demand that others obey them, much less that they depict people obeying them.
