Omg, I ate the onion.

I sat there like...is this real. Wtf. Had to go back to the my main page before I realized where I was.

I'm using a new app. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Problem is, that headline is not out of reach because “slavery was good for black people” HAS BEEN SAID BY DESANTIS

I've had someone tell me black people should all (even the ones from other countries) thank every white person they see because "they'd still be savages if it weren't for us"

I still don't know how to respond to that level of stupid.

As if it were not the white people who were savages throughout the colonial history and even the modern history. Calling other people savages just because they lived in a better harmony with nature and not chasing materialistic wealth while simultaneously fucking up the environment.

Holy shit same, I just realized it when you mentioned it. Insane.

I am using the Voyager app and the instance is always way down at the bottom. I have been got too many times to not scroll down first.

The problem with the onion now is this headline is absolutely expected, at least in a past tense. Maybe they wouldn't plan to have that debate, but I can imagine it happening during a debate.

Yep. It's why I don't watch as much late night comedy anymore. They are trying to make fun of things that are so ridiculous already that even the onion sounds plausible.
