People noticed artifacts in the art pretty quickly:

WotC is standing by its claim but it seems doubtful that these mistakes would have been made by a human unless the artist comes out and shows their process

I was wondering if they would try to quietly change their policy, or if they would blatantly lie about it (because there's no way they weren't going to use AI).

I guess now we know.
