2. Be civil
- Understand the difference between a joke and an insult.
- Do not harrass or attack members of the community for any reason.
- Leave remarks of "peasantry" to the PCMR community. If you dislike an OS/service/application, attack the thing you dislike, not the individuals who use it. Some people may not have a choice.
- Bigotry will not be tolerated.
- These rules are somewhat loosened when the subject is a public figure. Still, do not attack their person or incite harrassment.
3. Post Linux-related content
- Including Unix and BSD.
- Non-Linux content is acceptable as long as it makes a reference to Linux. For example, the poorly made mockery of
sudo
in Windows. - No porn. Even if you watch it on a Linux machine.
4. No recent reposts
- Everybody uses Arch btw, can't quit Vim, and wants to interject for a moment. You can stop now.

sudo cream... as in you put the cream on your toddlers when they misbehave, so you get sudo privilges with them (super user do, it's the same as executing commands as root, i.e. you can do anything and everything, it's the highest level of permission). For example,
sudo behave
. It's often used if regularbehave
just doesn't cut it π.The cream you put on toddlers?
Yep, I put it on my toddler's ass when they misbehave.
What cream?
It's for diaper rash and such
OK, that may not have been the best choice of words π€£π€£π€£. Oitment maybe?
No I just mean that I have no idea what you're talking about. We don't put any cream on children when they misbehave here, so I don't understand this product. Could you describe it?
Lol π€£. It's just baby cream, nothing special about it. The name is what's interesting. Part of it is sudo, as in the command (super user do), which basically gives you root pivileges. You can do anything as root, even destroy the OS (fairly easily I might add). The joke is, if regular commands don't work on your child, you put a little sudocream on them and they will execute every command you throw at them.
I hope this makes things clearer βΊοΈ.
