I'm conversing with this coke dealer online... I don't do coke, but we kinda developed this bond over time... it's weird, I know... don't even get me started on how we ever started conversing, had nothing to do with drugs, lol 😂.

Anyway, he started talking the other day, he bought a new bike (bicycle, he's into cycling, healthy lifestyle, doesn't do drugs, etc.), a really nice one, like 1K euros plus. So, he rode it the whole day and he got a flat at the end of the day. So, he started pushing it down the road, right next to a river, and out of nowhere, he just decided to throw it in the river... and he did. I asked him why, he said he could buy a new one tomorrow, doesn't even matter.

I think I'll narrate him this episode of the twilight zone... maybe it'll ring a bell.

It doesn't work with any new hardware. 10+ years, yeah, sure.

One is for all, the other is just the TV. It's probably a remote for a smart box or something, you can program some of the TVs commands on them, like on/off, input switching, etc... so you don't have to juggle with 2 remotes in your hand.

If they just tell you, than that's fine I guess. The problem is, what of those other things happen.

A simple thing like this, but premanufactured. I scoured the internet trying to find one (at a reasonable price) and there is nothing. I would make one myself, but I just don't have the time currently to do that.

I need it for a mains fan control. Doesn't have to be fancy (all of the ones I encoutered were very fancy, with touch sliders and whatnot), 5 steps is enough, on/off control as well as speed control through the remote. Nothing fancy, as I said, 5 steps is more than enough. So, basically, just 3 buttons on the remote: on/off, + and - is all I need.

Also, I don't need smart/phone/app solutions, I would like it to just have a remote, that's it.
