Has anyone tried LocalSend? Not android specific, not sure about Windows tho

I use it and like it. The only time I had trouble was as a moved very big archives from one pc to a laptop it didn't work.

Local send is better than everything else, including nearby share (both the windows version and the android one). And it's fastest by far.

I've found photon to be the fastest for me

but I use warpinator as it has additional security considerations and automatic file send and receive (without confirmation)

@MayonnaiseArch @rhythmisaprancer just tried it against quick share, but it took a while compared to quick share(same file, same wifi network) any reason why?

My main use case is with folks who have Apple phones. LocalSend has interoperability there. I cannot speak to Android-Android transfers with it, but have used the nearby share in the past.

@MayonnaiseArch @rhythmisaprancer nearby share is just as fast as local share. I dont know what samsung is doing but quick share is almost double the speed

I'm not sure, I can't use samsung things, but localsend maxes out my wifi, so.. maybe it would be slower compared to the samsung thing if I had better wifi?
