Can we talk about defederating with exploding heads? (reddthat.com)

I've started seeing racist memes from the exploding heads instance on All. I know I can (and have) blocked the communities I've come across from there, but I'd be happier to know that my home instance doesn't create a space for the people seeking out that kind of content. Obviously I'm not in charge here and to my understanding we ideally do things democratically here, so I'm really just hoping to start a conversation.

That is an extremely well thought out and grounded reply. I expected things to become boilerplate phrases after the first sentence. Instead, I read viewpoints and shared concepts, with an emphasis on providing as much freedom and equal treatment as possible. I am honestly gobsmacked to read this as a reality. Thank you, I feel lucky to be here!
