And they also let that cannibal become a TV show host and general celebrity.
I am actually curious why Japan is so culturally lenient toward violent offenders.
I guess they do glorify violence in their cultural media. And history.
So is America. Did America have any cannibal TV hosts?
Not that I can find. William Seabrook ate human flesh and went on talk shows but Americans never really warmed up to him, they prefer their cannibals steeped in religion. Then that guy ODd.
Tyson was almost a cannibal?
Doesn't count, Mike Tyson is a machine.
