Non-socialists are welcome to come to learn, though it's hard to get to in-depth discussions if the community is constantly fighting over the basics. We ask that non-socialists please be respectful and try not to turn this into a "left vs right" debate forum by asking leading questions or by trying to draw others into a fight.

It's that or fascism unfortunately. That's the rub with a two-party system.

We're getting fascism either way.

Did you notice how the Dems responded to the Roe repeal? Not by using their majority to try and enact meaningful change. They fundraised off of it instead.

I'm no longer content to pretend the Dems are a bulwark against fascism when they're just ushering it in.

Unfortunately, it's been looking more and more like Dems are not much more than "controlled opposition".

I think their opposition is just performative.

We have bipartisanship, but for the worst things.
