Maybe I'm remembering it more fondly than it deserves, but I remember it being crap but funny in a very juvenile way.
IMO If you set out to make a thriller, it doesnt matter how well the movie is made if it isnt thrilling, if you set out to make a comedy it has to be funny. Theres tons of movies out there that absolutely fucked up on setting the tone and just wasted film.
