More serious politics should go in [email protected].

Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Nice to have something to smile over when it comes to the Tories and their shenanigans. The only reason he had to sell this land was to make it harder for anyone else to complete the project.

The only reason the cost ballooned so much was because they were totally irresponsible in the first place and kept making modifications to the design to make more and more of it underground at great expense.

They should have been made to start it in the north. If the plan was always to build the whole thing then it shouldn't have made any difference to them. But no.

All infrastructure projects should start in the north, if they actually complete them they can connect them to the south, but that is the way to ensure the North ever actually gets anything.

With you all the way on build in the north first policy. There is a video knocking around on the ballooning costs.
