Half the time? I doubt it. Every system I've installed Linux on its worked fine. Sure, sometimes it won't and that sucks. It's free though, with no promises. If it works then great. If it doesn't then nothing of value was lost. If it works, then it probably works better than Windows, and it works most of the time.
God most Linux fans are such liars. Same as most vegans, and also people who wear atheism on their sleeve
