The only grocery I’ve ever seen deflate adjusting to lower commodity costs was specialty coffee, and even still, it’s rare
Grocery prices are sticky.
I go to small immigrant grocers in the city. Inflation has not been nearly as bad and quality is good. I avoid the big chains.
Not worth it for me. What I’d get in savings I’d be spending in transportation because I do groceries every week.
Yeah, I think this is another example of how our bad city design is leading to market concentration and suffocating our economy.
