The irony of people still on reddit saying stuff like "Reddit is in the find out phase" while being on reddit. Like... You are litterally proving them they can do whatever they want and you will still be a good dog and be there for them. People are so fking addicted to this site. I was, but just like you I just said fuck it and purged my accounts. My life is better now even though I kind of miss some smaller communities, but the reddit people coming here is very obvious seeing some comments having completely out of touch opinions and bad repeated jokes

Things like this is why I try not to get too invested in products or companies. They will betray you at some point. I don't use one device ecosystem, and even though I was addicted to reddit I made sure not to be dependent on it, and it makes switching so much easier. For example, if I bought a Mac computer, I would never get an iPhone to go with it, simply for the fact that it would lock me in a stupid ecosystem
