More than a hundred dolphins have been found dead in the Brazilian Amazon amid an historic drought and record-high water temperatures that in places have exceeded 102 degrees Fahrenheit.

This is in the southern hemisphere, it's the end of winter/beginning of summer there and the water temperature is already that high. When do we start holding corporations/governments accountable?

The Amazon is so close to the Equator that the seasons don't really affect the temperature that much. The main difference is that southern hemisphere winter is the dry season, hence the drought issues right now.

Not to downplay the role of climate change and deforestation, of course.

This is a short distance from the equator. The seasons there don't really affect temperature significantly; only rainfall.
