This time I'm using a slightly more complicated pattern, but tbh unfortunately not a pattern that I had to learn anew. For the lantern frame I'm using American Nutwood. At least that is what we call it here in Germany. I don't know which kind of nut exactly that is. The color is brown, obviously. It also shimmers purple when the light is right.

I'm not well versed in the massive variety of lumber available, but given the color I'm guessing walnut?
