Same! Had several accounts that have made the front page multiple times. Nuked all of my accounts yesterday. With that much karma, you can probably get a pretty penny for your accounts.
Wait Do people actually buy accounts just for the karma?
High karma accounts to incognito advertise things, bad actors trying to spread bad ideas, and Russian/Chinese propaganda on a Western social platform. I've already checked out on Reddit, so I don't give a shit what nefarious things whoever buys my account needs them for.
Eh the only issue I would have is it could muddy up your name
Eh if anything crazy ever came from it, I'd have the (literal) receipts to prove it's not me. All of my usernames were different than what I use for anything else, though, so it would be hard to even link them to me.
Why would someone buy an account? Iβm not saying they donβt. I just donβt see the point.
