A new Geekbench listing is showing the Pixel 8a (codenamed Akita) to have:

  • a CPU with 1 prime core at 2.91Ghz, 4 performance cores at 2.37Ghz and 4 efficiency cores at 1.7Ghz;
  • a Mali G715 GPU;
  • 8GB of RAM;
  • Android 14.

It scored 1,218 and 3,175 in respectively single-core and multi-core tests.

Those figures seem to be 10% to 20% better than those of the Pixel 7a.

I've got a 6a which I consider to be too tall, and I'm assuming the 8a is going to be bigger, but I would sure love to learn otherwise.
