When I have this discussion with any Danes, basically every time they call me pretty much insane for saying that I will always choose Lidl over Netto. Supermarkets in Denmark in general are quite bad, with little choice, poor quality, products not in stock, but I generally think the foreign ones like Lidl or Rema 1000 have a better standards and a little more interesting range of products. So what is yours?

PS: I wish we had ICA here

Where I live Rema1000 and Netto has a quite nice range and also an ok selection of organic goods.

In a city closeby, both rema1000 and especially Netto is quite much worse.

My conclusion is, that many supermarket chains/franchises in Denmark, actually vary a lot on several parameter, depending on local management and procurement policy
