When I have this discussion with any Danes, basically every time they call me pretty much insane for saying that I will always choose Lidl over Netto. Supermarkets in Denmark in general are quite bad, with little choice, poor quality, products not in stock, but I generally think the foreign ones like Lidl or Rema 1000 have a better standards and a little more interesting range of products. So what is yours?

PS: I wish we had ICA here

And at the same time they complain about supermarkets sucking, they'll complain about the prices at Irma, Meny and Kvickly. Danes want ICA or the giant luxury markets of southern europe as their supermarkets but only wants to pay Slovenian Aldi prices for their stuff. It's a tale as old as time.

Danes have a shitton of money but when it comes to grocery shopping anything above Balkan prices is seen as a ripoff.
