When I have this discussion with any Danes, basically every time they call me pretty much insane for saying that I will always choose Lidl over Netto. Supermarkets in Denmark in general are quite bad, with little choice, poor quality, products not in stock, but I generally think the foreign ones like Lidl or Rema 1000 have a better standards and a little more interesting range of products. So what is yours?

PS: I wish we had ICA here

ICA is our favourite as we quite often are by in Sweden we always buy a lot there. In Denmark Meny and Rema1000 are the top contenders. But yes - Supermarkets in Denmark are not really that good. I guess the fierce competition in a market where there are 20% too many supermarkets takes its toll.
