Has anyone here bought a refurbished unit? Would love to hear some feedback. Also, is the 512gb overkill for the deck? Seems like it but no idea.

I think this was just announced/released so I'd doubt that someone already has received a refurbished model yet. The 512gb is overkill imo, performance wise each model is the same except for storage quality/size. You can purchase a bigger drive and install it yourself fairly easy and save quite a bit of money. Also an SD card can be used for storage as well.

The etched glass is a significant value add. Matte protectors aren't comparable.

Whether that's worth the premium is up to you, but it helps a lot in harsh lighting.
