Good morning. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Do you know that when I was growing up, we never locked our doors. Now not only do I lock the doors, but I also have a house alarm. What I'm not sure of is if the threat is greater, or companies like alarm companies are exaggerating the threat. It's probably both. I didn't lock my car doors either. To be fair though, the cars I owned back then weren't exactly prime targets for car thieves. In those days car locks were mechanical in most cars as were the window roll up device, there was a hand crank. It's not that it was too much trouble to roll up the windows and lock the doors. Our security advice was just don't leave the keys in the car.

"I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three." - Elayne Boosler

@[email protected] Another stupid thief we encountered was the burglar who left $20 bills scattered on the floor, apparently not realising that these were money.
