Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.

  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

So I shouldn't expect you to start opposing genocide once the election is over, then?

My friend (please note that this is rhetorical. We are not friends. I have your tagged, I know who you are, and I know I'm likely wasting my time here), I've been opposed to this genocide from the start, and I will continue to be opposed to it regardless of what US administration is enabling it.

One of the many reasons I'm voting for Harris over Trump is because I care about the lives of Palestinians and am willing to be pragmatic about which of the two possible outcomes would be worse (far, far worse).

It's easy to just not vote, and then wash your hands of it when Trump wins and gives Netanyahu carte blanche to eliminate the Palestinian people. But that will not absolve you, as your inaction will have led to countless additional Palestinian death and suffering.

It is true that we are not friends. You assume I must be a trumper based only on the fact that I think Harris should stop supporting genocide.

Ooh! do you possess a very particular set of skills? Imagine bragging about leaving a fucking post-it note.

By calling people trumpers if they think Harris should change course.

What are you talking about? I voted for Harris two days ago. She should still turn away from Netanyahu's genocidal regime. So should you, but you never will.
