North #Korea has blown up roads linking it to South Korea, according to Yonhap.

Last week, North Korea's military announced plans to cut off transport links between the 2 countries and told the U.S. #military to avoid accidental conflict.

#Russia is planning new large-scale attacks on Ukraine's energy #infrastructure as the winter sets in.

Despite this, Ukraine's #energy sector has proven resilient with innovative solutions. It's still unclear if #Ukraine is fully prepared for winter.

The #Russian ruble has fallen to almost 100 RUB per 1 USD.

This will benefit the state budget as Russia plans to increase spending despite the 9% decline in the ruble's value following sanctions, Bloomberg writes.
