NVIDIA Shield angeschlossen. Gestartet. Mit WiFi verbunden. Nächster Schritt: Bitte mit (bestehendem) Google-Konto verbinden.

An dieser Stelle muss ich mich fragen, ob es überhaupt noch Sinn macht, das Gerät weiter zu analysieren. 🤔

Auch uncool: Selbst wenn man das Gerät über die Fernbedienung ausschaltet, ist zwar das HDMI-Signal weg, es bleibt aber weiterhin mit dem WiFi verbunden und kontaktiert Domains wie:

  • firebaselogging.googleapis.com
  • logs.netflix.com

@[email protected] Das erinnert mich gerade daran, dass die Fritzboxen ein Feature haben das WLAN z.B. in der Nacht zum Stromsparen abzuschalten - mit dem Pferdefuß, dass kein Client im Netz hängen darf - also nie 😳

  1. Rechts oben im Menü kann man das ding auch wirklich ausschalten
  2. Es gibt, glaub ich, auch LinageOS für NVIDIA shield
