I mod this community as well as the main Australia one and the Australian politics ones on here. There's nothing in the rules that say you can't promote protests here and so long as they are peaceful protests I don't really see a problem. Just so long as all discussion is civil and respectful.
Thanks for the info. Though what I wanted to post was asking about the protests, which zero_gravitas answered.
