Breaking news! My cat is officially off her diet!

When I adopted her she was 21 pounds and I had to use a small dog carrier. She's now at a healthy 13 (she's long).

That was a good day. I had to learn how to shave and wipe her bum (when I got her she just had dingle berries!?). Now she can get there all by herself. Your boy will get there!
I've never successfully shaved mine so I take him in periodically to have a professional do it. The wiping though is important he gets a bit messy ๐ One day, I'm hopeful in a month or two
I've only been able to do around her bum. Have you tried blindfolding him? I learned it from the crocodile hunter when I was a kid and it seems to help with cats.
