MODERATORS
If he never fired a shot it isn't really an assassination attempt is it? Intended quite possibly, but not an actual attempt.
Others are asking how a person with a firearm came within 500m of the former president. Every time he goes out there are people with firearms closer than 500m, and I don't mean Secret Service or Police.
