Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.

As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title

The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.

Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.

These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.

I wish there was a way to find the actual download size. It says 100+ gigs in the system requirements, which actually put me off from it on a metered connection. 54 is much more doable.

On PC, the download size is 100GB, install size is 122Gb, and the devs recommend 150GB, probably for saves and potentially mods one day.

In retrospect I think I'm an idiot and 52 gigs was what I had available before I made more space by deleting shit.

No worries -- I did wonder if maybe you had it on Early Access and 52 gigs was the difference with the official release.
