i'd never noticed how much the twitter logo looks like an upside-down sonic the hedgehog

one colour sonic silhouette logo upside-down twitter logo being impaled by the new x logo

Sonic's 30th anniversary was in 2021.

Correct but why stop celebrating, Sega haven't.

They could make it all up by re-releasing the Dreamcast and putting the original PSO servers online.

Most mention of it has disappeared by now due to linkrot, but there was that sale of refurbs from spare parts back in the mid 2000's: https://www.engadget.com/2005-12-13-sega-not-re-launching-dreamcast-only-selling-refurbs.html

Give it another year or two, as new mini boards come out and things get back to normal-ish. Evidently, as recently as last year they were saying production costs would still be too high: https://www.destructoid.com/sega-saturn-mini-dreamcast-mini-mega-drive-mini-2-famitsu-interview-retro/
