Partial results issued by the election commission seven hours after polls closed showed Kagame had surpassed the 98.79% of the vote he got in the previous election seven years ago.

The Democratic Green party candidate, Frank Habineza, mustered only 0.53% and the independent Philippe Mpayimana 0.32%, according to the results issued with 79% of ballots counted.

Clearly it was free and fair and he's just that popular.

Funny how there’s no outrage in western media about this guy and his elections… wonder who he’s buddies with, and does the bidding for in the region… 🤔

The Conservative government in the UK were working with him to deport people attempting to enter the UK to Rwanda. So they were partners in cruelty, for a start. The new Labour government has said it is abandoning this.

And the Tories were coming in for criticism for it. They basically did a run around the courts, which previously told them in no uncertain terms that Rwanda did not qualify as a safe country for asylum seekers.

Paul Kagame spends literally billions of dollars on Western PR firms.

He is also runninga US client state, as well as a UK Tory party partner in intended human rights abuses.
