It's full of ads and has more spyware than tiktok, thanks ๐Ÿ‘

Kinda disappointed that Sync for Reddit Pro users don't get transferred to Sync Ultra here.

I guess I'll just wait to see if Lemmy catches on before buying Ultra.

I didn't notice anything related to spyware though. Besides crash analytics which can be turned off.

It asked me to give consent to over 50 third parties to use my data right away. It also has ads and hiding them is locked behind a paywall. I'm sticking with Connect, which doesn't have ads and they claim they don't have trackers.

Where did you see this 50 third parties request? Maybe I just missed it on setup?

GDPR Consent

It looked like this. It was a GDPR consent. 50 was a wild guess, i didn't count, but it looked like 50. You could either accept all or reject them onne by one, which i was not going to.

I guess it only fires up inside EU countries because of the laws. Anywhere else it's probably accepted on your behalf by default. Fuck ads.
