And a follow-up article for those who are downvoting and denying reality:

I'm happy Trump is convicted. I don't like how you're using mental illness as an insult.
Sure sounds like I'm important or something. I'm honoured that you place my inconsequential comment on the same weight as the Trump news.
Or is it rather that you don't feel strongly about the Trump news? This is pretty indicative, gotta say.
I didn't say I felt the two things with equal magnitude. But also, I'm not sure what difference Trump's conviction makes. He can still run for president, right?
What a shitty thing to comment.
You're getting the "Dick" tag.
Maybe you should rename your account to GardenVarietyEscapism ? 🤔
Surely you wouldn't downvote confirmed facts from a trustworthy source because they hurt your feelings... right?
Maybe you shouldn't link to a mental disorder to insult people.
Shame on you.
This is about people who are in denial. Are you in denial? If not, you're not applicable for the comment I wrote.
If so, then get some help.
No, this is about an asshole that thinks "mental illness is an insult I should use to describe people I don't like".
It's always the people who aren't part of the mentioned group jumping to their defense.
Do you think left-leaning people with BPD are unhappy at the news about Trump? Certainly seems like you know them better than they do themselves.
You don't know me, you don't know my health or who I am, yet you just assume to discredit me as a bleeding heart or whatever.
First of all - do you really think having a mental illness is something that needs to be "defended"? Are you really that unempathetic?
It doesn't need to be defended.
Equality is treating people the same regardless of their condition. What you're doing is divisive by jumping to the defense of a group that can very well defend themselves.
But that is again, under the assumption that what I said was an attack and not a recommendation 🤔. Which makes me think even more that you felt insulted by the Trump news.
Yes, the group famous for the ability to defend themselves, the mentally ill. Bravo.
Do you think all mentally ill people are complete vegetables or something? That's somehow more offensive than what you're accusing me of.
This is black and white thinking. Pay attention when you use words like: All, every, always, never, hate, etc. They narrow your worldview and the ability for others to understand what you're really trying to say.
You're getting downvoted because you're being a dick. I'm not even conservative, just saw the post and wanted to see what people were saying. And here you are being aggressive and throwing around mental illness links as if you're a trained psychologist.
It's a blog, I never claimed to be a psychologist.
But of course, if you're unhappy with the Trump news that would explain a lot. That's one of the reasons you'd be on this community in the first place after all, makes perfect sense.
I’m also not a fan of Trump and I also came here to see what people were saying. Instead, there’s just a bunch of BS because of your stupid blog link. It just reeks of trying to troll in a really low effort and childish way.
Yes it is a stupid blog link. Yet people feel stronger about it than the massive once-in-a-lifetime Trump news. Extremely disconcerting.
You realize we all knew about it before you posted it, right? Sounds like a BPD delusion if I ever saw one... and I have.
Most people agree with the verdict. I would imagine most non MAGA conservatives are part of that group.
You aren't some heroic town crier giving us our first revelation that the old cheesebucket was found guilty. This is the internet, you're a rando, and it's old news already.
I've seen BPD completely destroy 2 people's lives, and I'm watching it do its best to take down a third right now.
So you wanna fling BPD around? You're overtly showing multiple red flags for it.
Black and White world view, Projection of behavior, Projection of mentality, Getting defensive and offensive when people disagree with you, Assuming people accept or reject all your ideas as a whole, Dictating with certainty how others think or feel, I can go on if that isn't enough.
I'm very serious: BPD -will- ruin your life. I'm guessing a self diagnosis has at least been considered at some point. Go get a second opinion. There is a point of no return and it -will- try to sneak up on you.
And just for the record, I've been saying this day will come since 2021. I can disagree with parts of your personality and opinions while agreeing with others. It's not an all or nothing thing. BPD does make it feel that way sometimes though.
You know there's an ALL filter right? I'm not even subbed to this community. Basically anything and everything shows up there.
No, I downvote assholes. External facts don't influence that decision.
External facts... like the Trump news? Which you were following this community to avoid? Hmm.
Oh, another red flag for BPD is dictating with certainty how others think or feel.
