TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ **8. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

I have a theory that TNG is all an illusion created by Puck and/or Titania to try and psychologically manipulate Xanatos and Demona on a subconscious level. It started as a joke but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense.
For one thing, it explains away a lot of the issues with Troi. He made her an "empath" and counselor in the illusion to try to force her to learn empathy and get her to deal with her own inner demons (this also explains why her powers are inconsistent and work more like magic). But her mind resists being influenced, causing her to sabotage herself to undermine the illusion's effects. That's why she's always giving such terrible advice.
"What's that, you think the only emotion you can feel is anger? And you felt intense pleasure when killing someone with your bare hands? I suggest exploring these darker emotions alone and unsupervised."
Thomas Riker is in gold because it's the color coyote wears, making it easier for them to accept the duplicate. His presence forces Xanatos to confront the conflict between his ambitions and the people he cares about. At the same time, it prompts Demona to work through the bizarre relationship issues that come from having feelings for both your ex and their pallette swapped doppelganger.
Worf's there as a way to help coldstone recover his "humanity" for lack of a better word. That's why he starts out as wereworf in the early seasons and becomes more thoughtful and sophisticated as time goes by.
I could go on and on like this.
This blew my mind a bit. I was looking for an excuse to rewatch Gargoyles, anyway. Now I have a watch party to plan.
Bruh. Having realized what you just did here, this is amazing!
