We found out how much they had been struggling. Some of the changes were desperately trying to reverse enrollment drops, some were desperately trying to court major donors, and some were necessary as staff realized what was happening and left for better opportunities. In hindsight, I can’t really complain, and only wish they had succeeded in turning it around
