My dad sent this to me this morning, we saw totality for the 2017 one and now my partner and I are in Cincinnati to head into the path tomorrow to see it

I genuinely can’t emphasize how amazing it was to see. It’s one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.

I saw the partial eclipse in 2017. I thought it was pretty cool but I gotta say - being in the path of totality is definitely way cooler. It got much darker this time, almost like how it is at dusk. The lights and shadows looked much different before and after too.

Almost everyone I talked to about it (and I know some very bitter and cynical people) - thought it was baller.

We were in the path of totality both times and apparently it was much darker this time.

I saw 2017's but not this one, I was sleeping.
