Hey, we haven't been able to find a secure way to poll everyone yet, and I've really been itching to ask everyone this question so we can get updated numbers on our trans population here. This isn't going to be scientific or anything, but just a quick guess.

Please respond to this post with a 'yes', 'no', or 'maybe'. If you have anything to add, please use a spoiler tag below your answer like so:

spoilerhi!

no

spoilerMore like “probably not” or “not exactly”. I don’t really like the word “man” for myself. “Boy” is nice for some reason. I think I have some “Peter Pan syndrome” thing. I really would rather be a kid and am kind of depressed that I just can’t anymore. But all of that feels adjacent to the things I’ve seen trans and nb people say about their gender.

I read about an NB person who wanted to stay on puberty blockers indefinitely, and honestly I think I would have liked that. Maybe like a couple years after puberty started though.

I’ve seen terms like “demiboy” and I think “yeah maybe, but not exactly”. Femboy isn’t really a gender but I’d love to be one.

But regardless of all that, I still consider myself a cis male, because “boy” is just a type of male anyway.

Gender non-conforming is a good general label IMO that I kind of want to be but don’t really feel like I’m pulling off right now (not that I’ve tried all that much). I much prefer not having a beard, but shaving is so much work and I don’t have much experience.
