It's like the last 30 years of offline office software never happened. They talk about it like they cannot even fathom what it would be like if this software didn't collect data on users.
Doubtful that Google would be able to do it, either.
Everything is cloud-based SaaS now. Even Windows, the goddamn OS, is pushing to be some cloud-based product.
