Yeah, look at New Mexico and Alaska, great flags that represent only 1-2 things about their state, but are so iconic. I want an iconic flag!

I'd love to see a contest where artists submit their designs and it's narrowed down to 5 choices for the ballot. Current, 1901, and three citizen entries. We have ranked choice voting, let's use it!
