This technology sublemmy (or whatever) is here because I wondered if anyone would post non radqueer stuff on this site. Any technology will do. I like computers, but we can talk about sliced bread if people want.

VR is probably the best way to simulate identified height. You will be able to see the world in a 3D view from a different perspective. unfortunately the devices needed can be costly at this time.

For anyone that has a quest two there is a way to make yourself taller in setting. It is only one height you can choose though. you might already know about if you have a head set.

  1. go to settings-->accessibility-->mobility-->adjust height (if this path changes you can search adjust height in the search bar)
  2. play games an enjoy being taller

Make yourself taller or shorter (any exact height) . any PCVR compatible headset including Quest 2 will work . you must have a Windows PC fast enough to run windows games. . you now want to buy your games on Steam. you If I don't I don't know how to be short. . works in game where people are different height. If everyone is the same height in the game you will be too. .I've never had this problem but if it is a competitive game there is a slight possibly they ban users from the game for changing their height. Like I said I have never experienced but I have seen some people online complain about people changing height for a competitive edge.

Quest 2 specific part get air link connected to PC or buy virtual desk top and connect (if unsure how to look up a guide on air link or virtual desktop setup and connect to steam vr see steam vr is not installed yet

everyone wanting to be taller or shorter (any exact height) 1.Install steam on windows PC 2.install Steam VR within Steam 3. go to settings --> video settings --> world scale 4. do some simple math a. open a calculator b. convert feet and inches to just inches if need. CM can skip this step c. do ('current' height)/(identified height) If that notation is unclear divide the 'current' height by identified height. NOTE: if you want to be short the number should be more than 1. For tall people the number will be less than one. Is know this seems backwards but trust me d. you should be able to change your height to the exact number. If the number you calculated isn't there you should be able to find it. There is a 'fine' 'normal' and 'extreme' setting with different percentage values.

Tested on quest 2. This guide should work on Quest 1, and the upcoming 3. And of course it will work on your Steam VR native headset like a index, Vive, Big Screen Beyond (the one I want)... If you are me enjoy being just under 4 feet tall :). Or tower over people whatever your thing is.

This was a quick guide I made from memory. Please ask questions if you are stuck. comment here or the transid.org wiki's Discord for the fastest response.
