@gravitas_deficiency @Blaze If they're going to be a stickler about the "in any way" bit, guess it's against the rules to simply view it?
The browser makes a local copy in the cache. That's how things work.

@samus12345 @birthday_attack But it opens Reddit to now being mocked as "The Shart of the Internet".
A win in my book.
@Fizz @Dindonmasker I pay for Youtube Premium.
I still run uBlock Origin on there to cull behind the scenes analytics, and block cross-site cookies from tracking me across the web.
@Yoru Try clicking the gear in the menu bar, and turning off Ambient Mode. That lagged the crap out of my machine, but on a Intel iGPU.
The dark themes in Enhancer for Youtube also disable ambient mode.
@LinkOpensChest_wav You're very welcome! I don't know the full laws, but feel that actively sabotaging a browser setting explicitly labelled as an accessibility feature should count as some kind of violation. Submitted my own complaint.
Though, as ABC News is owned by Disney, are we at all surprised of their Mickey Mouse operation over there?
@LinkOpensChest_wav @technohacker If you're a US citizen or resident, you can also file an ADA violation complaint with the Department of Justice.
@someguy3 Top. Tried it on the bottom, didn't like it, since I kept fat-fingering the OS navigation button bar, and I've gotten too accustomed to the top position. Also use Firefox on a Galaxy Tab, primarily in landscape mode as a mini-laptop with a keyboard and mouse, and top menu feels more natural.

@TeepoPeeto @c0mbatbag3l Stuck with Win2k from 1999-2010, was forced onto XP when stuff like games wouldn't install because 2k didn't have Windows Firewall. Never mind the PC already had a decent firewall (think it was atGuard).
Still use Win7, in a VM, as it's where my 🏴☠️ Adobe products run.
@gravitas_deficiency Geez, after over 35 years on the Internet, you think I'd learn to append an "/s" tag to things by now.
I'll leave a some here for future use.
