and I always advice to not use a different party for nameservers than the party that registered the domain.

Why is that? I register most of my domains at Porkbun, but I usually use Cloudflare’s nameservers as they seem to support more record types, have more features, and have a better UI than most registrars’ offerings.

I’ve had success with PowerDNS (PDNS). I like that it comes with a HTTP API and it’s got integrations with Caddy and other ACME clients if you need that.

Nice. You might miss out on firmware updates, though.

Thanks for clearing that up. But it would still be better than not having it as multiple host names/websites could point to the same IP, right?

Also I’m not sure how you read my comment since I deleted it right after I posted it 😂. Still learning this Lemmy stuff

If you don’t want them to see your DNS requests, you can use DNS Over HTTPS (DoH) or DNS Over TLS (DoT) I think

You can also add this to the control center for easy access.

Is there a public API for this yet?

I’ve been using RapidAPI on my Mac. It looks quite nice, but I’ve found some parts to be a little buggy.

Arc and Orion are the best browsers I’ve used. GNOME Web looks nice, too.

I’m trying to collect all the apps! I’ve got Mlem, Memmy, and Rennes and I signed up for the Artemis waitlist
