Stability and configuration options. I already used Jellyfin but for me is not stable. It often crashes and configuration options are a mess at the moment.

The Sweet KDE Plasma theme is very cool! It should be the one used also by Garuda Linux.

Considering that I'm using Emby (selfhost), it's able to manage my music collection too and I can play the music from the web player exposed by it.

This work makes life easier to normal user to install debian like he/she does with other distributions, a work that should be already thought by official live maintainers due to the use case. Anyway for some reason (time, unable to see the use case, other) it was not done. No problem, now there is it.

What's the best rolling release Distributions that doesn't crash too much in c/[email protected]

If you want a desktop distro up to date with kernel, DE, etc. which does't crash I can advice Fedora. Aftet the six month release cycle it is easy to update. I used it for a couple of years on my home pc and it was very good.

Paticolarmente interessante è la newsletter che riporta aggiornamenti e novità su applicazioni che si possono installare sul proprio homelab server.

We feature a weekly e-mail newsletter every Friday morning focusing on a recap of the latest in self-hosted industry and software updates, as well as occasional blog posts and projects that serve as our effort to give back to the community.

Behind the scenes, selfh.st is a hobby blog published, edited, and self-hosted by Ethan Sholly (with some technical help from a friend or two). The site itself is served by Ghost (featuring a slightly modified version of the official Dawn theme) and proxied using Cloudflare's tunnel service.

Feedbro installed as Firefox/Chrome plugin is a great app as cross patform RSS reader.

Una lista di community interessanti in ambito IT (informatico / tecnologico) su diverse istanze Lemmy, se ne avete altre commentate pure che aggiorno volentieri.

Ci sono le communty con contenuti nuovi o guide nel contesto tecnologico generale e non quelle che parlano in dettaglio di una materia. Per queste ultime esistono forum ufficiali specifici dove si discute in dettaglio. Esempio: non riporterò una community sul linguaggio "pippo" perchè sicuramente per esso esisterà un forum ufficiale, salvo eccezioni.

Quelle con la stella ⭐ sono le mie preferite!
