I've tried so many things from squinting to covering parts of the picture to adjusting the light in my room. I know this dress is blue and black because I've seen it while not being over exposed. I just can't get my brain to recognize it any other way than gold and white in this picture.

As the youngest child in my family, I was most definitely not "The favorite" but I was able to get away with the most.
I don't know where this quote originated. I first heard it from my future SO and it goes something like this
"It is human nature to assume that once we have found the answer, we will find peace. Instead, one must find peace first, then the answer will come."
It would be more accurate if they showed a picture of Russell M Nelson. I grew up Mormon and if you didn't pay your 10%, it didn't matter how little you made. You could be barred from taking the sacrament, participating in blessings, and prevented from going to the temple.
If he is in the US, I suspect he also didn't want to pay out the nose for an ambulance.
They don't want some of the money. They want ALL of the money and they have nothing but contempt for their users. They don't just want a small revenue stream that they need to share with other entities. They want to monetize every aspect of their service and they can only do that if they force users to use their app. They have big plans for the app to make it even shittier I imagine.
The third one is rust which has become a meme at this point. Programmers like it because it has almost as much performance as C but has a lot of safeguards preventing memory errors and vulnerabilities. I have no idea what the last one is tho
The dishes are done
I am a paying user of ChatGPT because it is invaluable for my job and personal projects in tech. I would NEVER take the output as truth without vetting the information first. If you have a problem and you aren't familiar with the commands, you can get ChatGPT to give you those commands after describing the problem and environment but you ALWAYS research the commands to make sure that they are doing what the AI describes. The last thing you want to have to explain to an angry client is the reason why their system was nuked is because you got the commands directly from a glorified search engine.
I think lemmy will start hitting it's stride when it gets more widely known about especially within the Reddit sphere. I've been looking for a federated Reddit alternative for years because I love the format but don't trust Reddit anymore because it's going public. As venture capital starts squeezing that service, I think more people will be open to looking for an alternative especially as more of the web becomes accustomed to federation in general.
When Windows started getting pre installed bloatware is around the time I made my full switch to Linux. When Samsung phones started doing the same, I switched away from them too. Srsly, I will become a luddite before I use any devices that force apps I don't want on me. It's abusive and shouldn't be legal.
