I think moving on from Cousins was the right move, though I have to hold down my negativity about him because he performed far better than I thought he would for us. With that, my understanding is the kind of money and duration he was wanting for a new contract, just didn't make sense. Especially coming off a year ending injury and his age. I really like what we saw from Darnold yesterday, maybe just maybe he is salvageable for the time we need him.

It's true. I think the 9ers D is a lot better than the Giants though. And they're not going against Daniel Jones tonight. I hope it'll be a good game Sunday.

Yes, in practicality, this is it.

It's easy to believe you're invincible in your twenties. Or "later me can deal with it.". As that later version of me, I'm not a huge fan of that earlier version in a lot of ways. It's fine, I'm who I am for what I went through, and I'm righting the ship. But the more cans you kick down the road, the more you have to deal with later and the harder they are to deal with. Physically, mentally, financially. It's ok to try to live life freely, but definitely be aware of this and consider kicking one less can every chance you get.

I feel like this is exactly what the most disruptive members are wanting. Maybe I'm just being cynical and this is way off point, but it feels to me like they want a non-functioning federal government. This entire shit show is the plan. The wrench in the gears.
