To containerize desktop apps I prefer Apptainer/Singularity, that's pretty portable, usersapce, and requires less tinkering to integrate with the system than Docker. I use it for Zoom and other closed source crap. AppImage is probably the more standard solution for that that's very similar technologically, but I'm already familiar with Apptainer from work.

I recently tried Ubuntu after many years, needed Docker and it told me to install it as a Snap, I thought, OK, whatever. I'm anything but a newbie, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out where the volumes were actually kept. That was the primary reason to abandon this experiment.
Kimchi and cheese is a surprisingly good combo. I especially like kimchi with chijeu tteokbokki, which are cheese-filled Korean rice cake.
I'm very happy with self-hosted Vaultwarden.
It could very well be, it's just that this dataset excludes anything above $1M. I excluded that partly because indeed these data are not freely available, so I only scrape what I need. Realtor.ca is actually quite good at detecting automated requests ("bots") so can't be too greedy 😅
Looks like there's no correlation really. I'm using these data just to learn the market and make an informed purchase hopefully over the coming months. Not just the price and size, but everything I can scrape from the internet. I'm just at the early stages of analyzing what I have.
BJ almost certainly stands for Beijing here (although the company is apparently Qingdao-based). You see it a lot in China, including very oblivious "I ❤️ BJ" T-shirts worn by old ladies.
List price, these condos are currently on the market.
Not sure it's useful for anybody, but today I learned that condos that are of interest to me (Downtown Toronto and nearby, in the $400k-1M range) go for approx $11,000 per square metre, ±$4000. This graph is made from 136 current listings. Some curious outliers there, but it could be an artifact of how the data are obtained.
Nothing wrong with that... Most people don't need to reinvent the wheel, and choosing a filename extension meaningful to the particular use case is better then leaving it as .zip
or .db
or whatever.
Same, with Pixel 4A. But now that the Pixel line has abandoned the 3.5mm jack I will look elsewhere for my next phone and ROM.
They never met IIRC. Gollum was already inside Moria when the Fellowship entered from Durin's Gate.
