I had to intubate patients as part of my clinical time for paramedic, which meant time in the OR. Some surgeons would let us hang out and watch the surgery. Orthopedic surgery sounded like a cross between a construction site and an automotive shop. Die grinders, saws, and power drills.

Also, apparently knee replacement involves one guy doing MMA submission moves on the patient's leg while another goes at their exposed, hyper-flexed knee joint with a hammer and chisel.

Here's one, though several others offer the same functionality.

Custom mode:

 {
      "www.youtube.com": "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/104.0.0.0 Safari/537.36"
 }

Easy: use a user agent switcher that uses blacklists. Mine only spoofs chrome for youtube.com.

As the owner of an older Japanese motorcycle: you're better off with a wrench.

You're probably just going to strip it with a screw driver, and that's assuming it's actually Philips and not JIS.

Another mirror has the original comments. They're exactly what you'd expect from 2001.

The Dems have run relative leftists in the past: Bernie Sanders was on the primary ballot in 2020 ... and lost.

If you want to blame anyone: look at our fellow "voters". Asking my under-30 coworkers if they voted in the primary and/or the general election was depressing as fuck.

... I thought Lunix was invented by the infamous Soviet computer hacker Linyos Torovoltos.

Here you go.

I'm not saying those are the exact techniques that were used to build the pyramids, but they demonstrate that massive stones can be easily lifted and accurately placed using only "primitive" resources and leverage.

One of the most depressing parts of getting older is seeing how many of your peers just stop mentally developing at some point -- middle age people for which highschool never ended.

It isn't "terrible", it's ugly because of purely aesthetic design choices: specifically that Fiat Multipla style "forehead ridge". It's a styling problem -- not a form factor or price point one.
